For children from age 6 as well as for adults, we offer introduction and improvement in caving in the caves and networks of the Vercors - one of the largest karst massifs in Europe. Supervision and loan of equipment (helmet, lighting, suit, harness, ropes) included.

According to desire and level: cave without or with the use of ropes, underground via-cordata, or the full day. For any specific request, contact us.

☔ Good to know: caving runs all year round, even in the rain - the perfect fallback when climbing or canyoning is rained off.

Frequently asked questions

Is caving accessible to beginners and if you are claustrophobic?

Yes, our discovery outings take place in suitable caves, with no compulsory narrow passages. The instructor chooses a cave suited to your comfort and guides you step by step, in complete confidence.

What is the minimum age to take part?

The introduction is accessible from age 6, for children and adults alike. The more committing routes (with ropes, via-cordata, big outings) are for older participants, depending on desire and level.

Is it cold underground?

The temperature is constant all year round, around 10 °C. With the provided suit and warm clothes underneath, you stay comfortable throughout the outing.

What should I wear and bring?

Suit, helmet, lighting and equipment are provided. Bring warm clothes to wear under the suit as well as boots or old trainers that can get dirty.
